Pneumatic lids are used when targeting accuracy and board flatness are more critical. These lids use air cylinders to provide the force to push the UUT onto the probes. Typically these units allow for a more parallel actuation of the board to the probe field, resulting in increased accuracy, and less board flex. We can provide a product from the simplest side access application, to a fully loaded 7K+ probe fixture using six 5” cylinders. These also come in dual stage versions utilizing double stacked cylinders and exclusive cam rail technology to insure perfectly even, parallel actuation. These lids are rugged and built to withstand the rigorous demands of the PCB fabrication industry.
